As part of the 2016 Canberra and Region Heritage Festival, Gundaroo will be celebrating ‘Rediscovering Gundaroo’ between the 2nd and 19th of April 2016. The event will include launch of the Gundaroo Heritage Walk guide’, historical society open days, a “Back to the Gundaroo Pub” luncheon, a photo display and more events are planned.

The new Heritage Walk guide will help visitors experience the historic character of gundaroo and guide them around the keys sites in the village providing information on the history and current usage of the buildings and locations. You will be able to obtain a hard copy of the walking guide at local buisness’s during the event and after.

During the event all our local buinsesses will be open so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also accommodation available at the motel or the Colonial Inn if you want to stay the night.
