Tim the Yowie man ventured out to Gundaroo recently to join the Gundaroo Historical Society on a visit to the famous prospectors hut, once home to a well known local identity Ted Watt. Last Saturday, the Canberra Times published the Yowie mans story in it’s Panorama magazine.

This an important part of Gundaroo’s history and what life was like after war for the Aussie soldier.

Information on Ted will be on exhibit at the Gundaroo Soldiers Memorial Hall this Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the Anzac Centenary and Canberra and Region Heritage Festival. Further details regarding this event are provided in the above article.
